PROGRESS IN PROCESS ✊💜

With your help, we have collected over 200 signatures in 2 days — from athletes, coaches, fans, industry professionals, and referees — calling for a review of the ’s pay disparity for referees in men’s and women’s basketball.

The has heard us, and will be participating in a formal process with their office and PCW Chairperson Ermelita Valdeavilla to examine the UAAP policy. We look forward to an open dialogue with experts from different agencies and will keep the community updated on our progress!

To everyone who stands with us:
We will keep pushing. 🔥
Your voice makes a difference. 💪

Hundreds of people have spoken out against the ’s pay cuts for refs of women’s basketball while giving raises to the men’s division. Despite this, the league has released a statement doubling down on the policy.

Let’s break down their statement. This is why it only further reveals their lack of respect for women’s sports.

Here’s what YOU can do:
👉 Stand with the women’s sports community
👉 Reach out to your UAAP board member
👉 Keep the discussion going. Share this post, comment your own thoughts, and amplify the voices of others speaking out!

With a live Q&A with artist and founder & a live podcast recording with national para athlete .outofthebox, this was a space to learn about women’s sports history and be inspired to build the future ahead.
