🚨 Tragedy in Jalingo: Speeding Tipper Crashes Into Mile 6 Market, Leaves Many Dead 🚨

A fatal crash rocked Jalingo’s Mile 6 Market on Friday, June 27, when a speeding tipper truck suffered a tyre burst and lost control, ramming into a crowded market. Multiple people were killed, and several others seriously injured.

Eyewitnesses say the truck veered off the road within seconds, mowing down traders and shoppers. Emergency services responded swiftly, rushing victims to nearby hospitals. Several remain in critical condition.

The driver has been arrested as investigations begin into the cause whether mechanical failure or reckless driving.

Authorities have urged calm and pledged support to affected families, while calls grow louder for stricter truck regulations and road safety enforcement across Taraba State.

Abdullahi Ganduje has resigned as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), effective immediately. 🔥 BLOODY RAID IN KEBBI: 30 KILLED AS BANDITS STRIKE TADURGA AND KYEBU COMMUNITIES

🗓️ June 21, 2025

Tragedy struck in Kebbi State as terrorist attacks on Tadurga and Kyebu communities in the Zuru Emirate claimed at least 30 lives, leaving many others injured.

The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Umar Abubakar Tafida, led a government delegation on condolence visits to the affected communities. During the visit, the state government announced a ₦50 million donation — ₦25 million to each community — to support bereaved families and the injured.

Authorities say the attacks were carried out through unsecured entry points, which the state has now vowed to block as part of enhanced security efforts.

According to Zuru LGA Chairman, Muhammad Isah, 16 people were killed in Tadurga, while Danko-Wasagu LGA Chairman, Hussaini Bena, confirmed 14 deaths in Kyebu and Yar-Kuka, Waje District. The attackers also reportedly made away with livestock and valuable property.

Traditional leaders, including the Chief of Dabai, Suleman Sami Dabai, and village heads Abdullahi Usman (Tadurga) and Usman Muhammad Dunga (Kyebu), praised the government’s response but urged for stronger security reinforcements to prevent future attacks.

It is a deeply sorrowful time for fans and followers of Yoruba actress Esther Oluwaseun Odeniyi, popularly known as Berry White.

The heartbreaking news was shared by her colleague, Bakare Zainab, via Instagram. According to her, the upcoming actress reportedly slumped and died in her home, and her body remains there as of the time of the report.

In an emotional message, Bakare appealed to the public to assist in locating the actress’s family.

Pastor Adefarasin Questioned Over Viral Gun Video. Police Confirm It Was a Stun Gun”

The Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, has been granted bail after voluntarily appearing before the Lagos State Police Command in response to a viral video showing him with a gun like object.

In a statement, the police confirmed that the pastor was interrogated and provided a cautionary statement to investigators. Upon investigation, the object seen in the video was identified as a stun gun a non-lethal, prohibited anti-riot device not a firearm.

The police have granted Pastor Adefarasin bail while further investigations into the matter are ongoing.
