The Platform Magazine was honored to join VIP seating at the Sunset Parade at the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial on June 10, 2025, alongside distinguished leaders in national security and veteran advocacy. Over the course of the 45-minute ceremony, “The Commandant’s Own” United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon delivered an awe-inspiring display of precision, discipline, and tradition. Standing in the shadow of the Memorial’s 32-foot-high bronze figures, we paid tribute to Marines whose uncommon valor was a common virtue.

🎶 Scotty Hasting’s “Till My Last Day” – A Tribute to Courage and Commitment 🇺🇸 On the 81st anniversary of D-Day, we pause to honor the incredible bravery of the Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy, and all those who fought to defend freedom during World War II.

Today, we are also proud to share a powerful new release from Army veteran and country music artist Scotty Hasting:

This isn’t just a song, it’s a story of perseverance, purpose, and love that echoes the same spirit of devotion shown by the Greatest Generation.
