-Include a brief bio in the body of your email (NOT in your submission document file) maximum 150 words. How you write your bio is up to you, but remember to keep it professional and as polished as your submission. If your submission is accepted for publication, your bio will be included in the magazine. Bios may be edited.
-Indicate the genre your piece fits into. For example, prose poetry, flash fiction, micro fiction, noir, short fiction, nonfiction, etc.
-All prose and poetry should be double spaced and in a standard font such as Times New Roman or Arial.

-For more tips on professionally formatting your document for submission, please read Formatting 101 by Marlys Pearson. Submission Format – Visual Art
-A professional-quality photograph should be taken of your artwork and submitted as a .jpg minimum 300 dpi. Consider presentation when taking your photograph. For example, if you are taking a photo of your painting, be sure it’s not angled and is cropped appropriately. If you are taking a photo of your sculpture, choose a simple background free from clutter such as furniture and doorways. Photograph using natural or natural-colored lighting to preserve the integrity of your colors. Ensure your image is free of glares that will make it hard to see your work.
-Do not put your name in the file name. Use the title of your work in the file name only.
-Include a brief bio in the body of your email (NOT in your submission document file) maximum 150 words. Bios may be edited.
-Indicate the medium your artwork is in. For example, “oil paint on canvas” or “felt, buttons, cotton thread and polyfil in sculpture format.”
-If your work is chosen for the cover, we may need to alter the dimensions in order to accommodate the cover format. If you do not want to be considered for the cover, please indicate that in the body of your email submission. Once you have professionally prepared your submission, email it to [email protected]. Don’t forget to include your bio in the body of your email!

Our first event at Green Line was a hit, and how could it be otherwise with this rockstar crew! Anna Lisa, Svea Skierka, Rayni Wekluk, and Isa Wright rocked a full house (about 40 heads). Fabulous kickoff to the 2025 13th Floor Reading Series. Thanks to all who came out and who made the event possible. Professional photos to come, but for now—enjoy a few stills of the joy and raw talent.

Hi, friends--quick note to say we no longer felt good about having a presence on TwiXter, so you will no longer find us there, though you can still find us on IG and here, clearly (and at Blue Line in about 90 minutes). Meanwhile, rise up and send your best work our way--we're eager to do our small part to create change.
