From the first moments inside Cob County, Shucked bursts to life as a joyful, corn-fed celebration of laughter, heart, and powerhouse vocals. This show is pure comedic gold and easily the funniest musical I have seen since The Book of Mormon . The one liners and zingers come so quickly and land s

From the moment the orchestra struck its first brassy chord and the lights dimmed into that sultry glow, the Broadway Touring Company’s performance of Chicago at the 5th Avenue Theatre reminded Seattle that razzle dazzle is not a relic of Broadway’s past. It is alive, electric, and intoxicating ...

From the moment the orchestra began, it was clear that Suffs is more than a musical. It is a political statement, a rallying cry, and a living reminder of the power of collective action. To see it performed at the 5th Avenue in Seattle was to witness a work of art that feels not only historical bu

Parade is emotional and, at times, uncomfortable. But that uncomfortably is exactly the point. The themes explored in the show are meant to reflect modern society, the complexity, ugliness, and brutality of our world. It is a mirror- one that reveals all the imperfections within. Those reflections

Life of Pi is not a bad show by any means. Its actually a perfectly fine show but misses the mark in terms of set design and immersion into the story. It is interesting that it won a Tony award for set design- a bit of a surprise given that it often pulled my focus from the main story.

Kimberly Akimbo is one of these shows. It is a quirky and cute production, something that feels very Gen Z. The story itself is interesting. Kimberly is a 16-year-old girl with a rare genetic disorder that makes her age four times faster than a normal human being. She navigates moving to a new town
