This is what inspiration looks like — not loud or planned, but found in the in-between.
Between the dishes and the deadlines. Between getting ready for work or heading to the barn.
You just look up, and for a heartbeat, the world is still.
A stolen moment of grateful peace.
The horse at the end of the rainbow is Buttons — ancient, stubborn, willful, and still a little frisky. She’s carried her rider on countless adventures and now enjoys a well-earned retirement. Arthritis may have slowed her steps, but her spirit? Still unstoppable.
Seeing her standing there, right at the base of that rainbow, felt like a reminder: good things come with age, with wisdom, and with the background of a life well-lived.
This view greeted me this morning — coffee in one hand, pen in the other.
The kind of quiet that stirs ideas and settles the soul.
More words are on their way, born from mornings like this — when inspiration whispers through the steam and sunrise. ☕🌤️
