Mari Kondo's method is a good way to start:
Ask yourself, "Does it (still) spark joy?
If your answer is yes, then keep it.
if your answer is no, sell it.

But here is my own guide. I know I am a very sentimental soul, so Mari Kondo's way makes me justify my hoarding. I am emotional but I also am fascinated with goals. So I tried this approach inspired by Peter Walsh. It might just work for you too if the Joy method isn't working. 😀
