I’m ending this year on a high note because I KILLED my reading goal for the year. I aimed for 1 book per month. And ended up reading 53 books! After getting an subscription I have now had so much time to read and simply enjoy books again as a new mom. I can read my favorite books on the go while doing other things and it has made my life so easy! It was definitely an adjustment and I will be making my reading challenge a little tougher next year but overall I’m happy with how much I’ve enjoyed reading and limited screen time.
📚 BOOK REVIEWS BELOW📚
1. Nick & Noel’s Christmas Playlist (3.5✨)
I love the chemistry of the two main characters in this playlist. It made it extra sweet and relatable to me that they’re childhood friends and that made me so happy! I honestly didn’t think I’d like this book base off of the description but Noel is the heroine of the year!!

2. There’s something Merry (4✨)
This one was a little more of my favorite out of all 3 books because I loved the single dad trope and just everything about Clark and second chances. This proved to be a perfect Christmas read!

3. Along Came Holly (3✨)
Again, this one was another good Christmas read but this one I felt was a little slower than the other two. The pacing felt a little off and some conflicts felt a little dragged out but a great book for the fun rom com reader nonetheless.

We had a blast at Eli’s second time with marine Santa at the squadrons Santa fly in Christmas party! Such a fun way to kick off all the Christmas festivities this season! ❤️❤️❤️

Weekend at Grandpas house snapshot. I love the holiday season so much because it’s one of those times of the year where we’re reminded just how important family is and that we’re not promised an extra day with anyone. Especially being a military family, we always have to pick up and go. So we’re enjoying our last little bit of time in California. What could be more relaxing than a weekend in the mountains?! 🏔️

My hair color the past year ➡️(swipe to see all the hair colors I did this past year with both my Afro and protective styles). My hair has become a huge extension of my personal style for me these past years. I’ve been fully natural for about 5 years (8 years total- didn’t do the big chop) and I can finally say I’m truly enjoying playing with my curls!
