Marine geologists have issued an urgent report warning of a possible massive undersea volcanic eruption along the Juan de Fuca Ridge, approximately 250 miles off the Oregon coastline.
According to data gathered by the Pacific Seismic Observatory, increasing seismic tremors, rising hydrothermal temperatures, and expanding gas plumes suggest that magma is rapidly moving toward the ocean floor — an indicator that an eruption could be imminent.

Dr. Mark Cerno, a leading volcanologist stated:
“This is one of the most active volcanic ridges on Earth, but the current activity is extraordinary — magma flow readings have tripled in just a week. Our models indicate a strong probability of eruption around October 25.”
If confirmed, this would be the largest undersea volcanic event in the Oregon region in recorded history, rivaling the 1998 Axial Seamount eruption. Researchers are closely monitoring seismic data, deep-ocean temperature shifts, and chemical readings in the surrounding water.
