In celebration of National Teachers’ Month, the Junior High School Unit held the much-anticipated Teacher Kalookalike Contest during the Morning Assembly yesterday, September 29, 2025.

The program highlighted the creativity, humor, and admiration of students as they embodied their beloved teachers through witty impersonations and thoughtful presentations, following a series of auditions facilitated by the Junior High School Student Council. With enthusiastic participation, the event showcased not only the students’ talent and confidence but also their deep appreciation for the Bedan educators who continue to guide, inspire, and shape their academic journey.

The list of winners are as follow:

2nd Runner-Up – Neil Gabriel M. Mateo as Mr. Gregorio Simangan
1st Runner-Up – Alexandra Legarteja as Ms. Shaira Carolino
Champion – Hamdy Emad Hamdy Saad Saad as Mr. Raymond Yadao

The program stood as a meaningful tribute in observance of National Teachers’ Month, celebrating the invaluable role of educators in shaping minds and building communities.

Due to the potential threat of Typhoon and for everyone's safety, all Face-to-Face Classes at ALL LEVELS (Public and Private) in the municipality of Taytay are suspended from Thursday, September 25 to Saturday, September 27, 2025.

This is in accordance with the announcement of Mayor Allan De Leon to ensure the safety of students and to allow for preparation and precautionary measures in response to the possible effects of the typhoon.

As per the Principal's Council, San Beda University Rizal will shift to Individual Self-Learning.

San Beda University Rizal campus roared with pride and unity as the entire Bedan community came together to rally behind its junior athletes in a spirited celebration of sportsmanship, talent, and tradition.

The day commenced with a solemn Eucharistic Mass at Jarrow Hall, setting a tone of gratitude and blessing for the athletes. This was followed by a vibrant parade of student-athletes, led by Rev. Fr. Aloysius Ma. A. Maranan, OSB, Rev Fr. Martin Mary J. Aleman, OSB, and Rev. Fr. Angelo Ma. S. Legal, OSB where Junior High School and Senior High School students showcased their support through handcrafted banners and resounding cheers.

The program officially opened with remarks from Mrs. Teresita T. Battad, who emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and the Bedan spirit in shaping not only athletes but future leaders.

The PEP Rally featured electrifying performances from various athletic teams, demonstrating that Bedan athletes are not only champions on the field but also performers on stage. The program continued with the Oath of Sportsmanship, the ceremonial Lighting of the Torch by Fr. Aloy, and the symbolic Bonfire, which united the community in a shared moment of passion and pride.

This event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Junior High School and Senior High School Student Councils, whose leadership and coordination ensured the success of the celebration.

More than a celebration of sports, the rally served as a powerful affirmation of the Bedan spirit. Through collective participation and unwavering support, the community demonstrated its commitment to building champions and upholding a legacy of pride and achievement.

The Bedan community came together last September 12, 2025, in a solemn Eucharistic Celebration to honor the patroness of San Beda University, Our Lady of Montserrat, and to commemorate the 130th year of Benedictine presence in the Philippines.

The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Aloysius Ma. A. Maranan, OSB, with school chaplains:Rev. Fr. Angelo Ma. S. Legal, OSB; Rev. Fr. Patrick Ma. V. Aldea, OSB; Rev. Fr. Pedro Ma. Cruz, OSB; and Rev. Fr. Martin Mary J. Aleman, OSB. concelebrating.

A special tribute program followed, featuring performances from students and messages of inspiration from Rt. Rev. Fr. Dom Austin P. Cadiz, OSB, Abbot of the Abbey of Our Lady of Montserrat.

This celebration served as a powerful reminder of faith, tradition, and the enduring guidance of the Blessed Mother.

The Junior High School Unit came together for a meaningful Morning Assembly yesterday, September 8, 2025, that highlighted the values of faith, unity, and recognition. The gathering began with a solemn Devotion to Our Lady of Montserrat, where students from various levels offered flowers in a gesture of reverence and prayer.

Following the devotion, the community celebrated student achievements through the announcement of Integration winners and the recognition of representatives who brought pride to the school in various off-campus activities. Their dedication and success were honored with awards, inspiring their peers to strive for excellence.

In a spirited turn, the JHS Student Council officially launched Teacher’s Month (September 5–October 5) with the exciting game “Baso!”, which brought laughter and energy to the assembly.

The celebration was capped off with a heartfelt surprise for Mr. Ronel Lenard T. Antonio, Prefect of Student Affairs, as the community greeted him warmly on his birthday.

The event was a beautiful reminder of the strength of the JHS community that is rooted in faith, driven by excellence, and united in joy.
