𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐒, 𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄

This month is our call to action. Together, we stand with those affected by breast cancer—𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨. The pink ribbon is more than a symbol; it’s a promise to fight, to learn, and to care.

Awareness begins with truth. Many believe that only women can get breast cancer, that no family history means safety, or that every lump is cancer, but these are myths. The truth is, men can also be affected, most patients have no family history, and not all lumps are cancerous, yet every lump should be checked.

𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨. Get screened, 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙪𝙥 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

Join The Pink Run—where every step is a stride toward awareness, prevention, and hope.
Let’s run for the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and honor the lives we’ve lost.

This Friday, October 10, the CHAP Council Outreach Committee will be giving out pink ribbons and inviting everyone to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Let every shade of pink remind us of 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝, 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, because awareness saves lives. By wearing pink, you’re not just showing support; you’re standing with every fighter, survivor, and family touched by breast cancer. 🌸

Together, let’s make compassion visible and turn our campus into a symbol of hope and solidarity. 💞

𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗬 2025 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦!

Held last September 25, 2025 at the University of St. La Salle, Tambal Day 2025 marked an opportunity for students to showcase their passion for healthcare. With the theme “Handum: Hope that Moves, Change that Matter,” this event hoped to foster a community of dreamers and doers in hope to provide healthcare for all.

Proudly representing our future medical technologists in Synergy of Innovations: A College and Senior High School Research Summit, Giljan Rezeile Cataluña and Decilla Joy Estera secured top spot as Champion. Likewise, claiming 1st Runner Up was Christian Edgar Capulso and Marvie Jane Erasmo, with Jethro Sabarillo and Tristan Juanillo achieving 2nd Runner Up.

Showing off their expertise in the TAMBAL Quiz Bee, members John Michael P. Espinosa from BSMT 3, Ashley Isabelle C. Nifras from BSMT 2, and Ela Maureen M. Gerangaya from BSMT 1 secured 1st Runner Up.

This excellence was not confined to facts and figures. Extending into their writing in the Essay Writing Contest, 1st Runner Up Therese Gomez and participant J Eugene Christian Jolito represented BSN 4.

Rounding out the creative events, participant Fiona May Aperong from BSN 1 submitted their entry to the Online Photography Contest embodying the theme to honor the passion and progress that sparks transformation in our community.
