History of ZCCR 94.1 FM ZCCR 94.1 FM is a full gospel radio station, located at Little Dix Hill Road, East End, Tortola, Virgin Islands (UK). Herbert.

It is owned and operated by Upper Room Victory Church, led by Senior Pastor Mervin S. This Christian radio station came alive in 2005, when founder Pastor Mervin S. Herbert followed his passion for radio and reaching souls for God. After moving to British Virgin Islands in 1969, from his native country, Nevis, Pastor Herbert pursued a correspondence course in electronics and worked in that trade.

In later years, he spent quite a bit of time at ZBVI Radio, which is owned by his older brother, Merit Herbert and sometimes 'held on' for radio announcers. in 1993, when his nephew, Rodney Herbert started ZROD FM Radio, Pastor Herbert began what has become the very popular 'Morning Inspiration' program. He was encouraged by his nephew, Rodney, to open a gospel radio station, but had to lay that thought aside, because of the construction of the Upper Room Victory Church Sanctuary, which was ongoing at the time. However, after completion of the church sanctuary in 1999, he applied to the BVI Government for a license to operate a radio station, which was granted in 2004. ZCCR 94.1 FM then became a reality and began testing in February 2005. At that time, it could only be heard parts of the territory, but was later upgraded to full power and now covers he entire Virgins Islands both US and UK. Today, zccrfm.com, enables us to reach the world. The station was officially launched on Sunday, July 10th, 2005, at the Upper Room Victory Church. ZCCR is outfitted with state of the art studio equipment that guarantees smooth, easy listening and the best sound that can be achieved. Along with main studio, the station is complete with a production studio and a conference room capable of seating up to twelve persons. ZCCR Broadcasts Christian programs (such as Focus on the Family, Unshackled and Adventures in Odyssey), gospel music, local, regional and international news, radio theatre and live events.

Join us from Thursday July 11th (tonight), as we begin the Wedding Anniversary Celebration honoring Bishop Herbert and First Lady Herbert. The theme is “Impacting the Church for Christ” and the text comes from Jeremiah 29:11.

Special Services will be held on Thursday 11th July, 2024 and Friday 12th July, 2024 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Nightly.

We will end off this auspicious occasion with a grand celebration on Sunday 14th July, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
