Every single day, when talking about this islamic invasion in Texas, someone who claims to be a Texas patriot posts, “You better hurry up and stop this invasion.” The real question is: What have you done to help? The answer is likely nothing. These types sit on the sideline and wait for others to do the work so they don’t have to get their hands dirty. Not very Texan like huh?
Then, when Texans actually start organizing and step into the fight, the same people sit back and say, “I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Really?
So your plan is to stay on the couch, behind your phone, while expecting someone else to solve the problems you complain about on social media every day?
Texas wasn’t built by spectators. It was built by people who engaged. If you want to keep liberty, freedom and our God given rights in Texas, you better start engaging.
For over a decade, a relatively small number of Texans have carried the load. They attended city council meetings, testified before the Legislature, volunteered their time, organized events/rallies, educated others in their their communities, and fought battles most people never even knew were happening till it was over. They won important victories for Texas.
But those days are over.
Liberty and freedom are not inherited forever—they are earned and defended by every generation. The moment good people become comfortable, complacent, or convinced that someone else will fight their battles, those freedoms begin to erode. History is filled with examples of nations that lost their liberty not because evil was unstoppable, but because too many decent people chose comfort over commitment. Freedom isn’t self-sustaining. It demands citizens who are willing to fight for it. The price of liberty has never been paid for once; it is paid for every single day.
The same can be said for this invasion to overthrow our constitution, our liberties, and our way of life. If you want results, you have to fight for it—not just when it’s convenient, not just when an election rolls around, and certainly not from the comfort of your couch. You don’t preserve a free society by posting angry comments on social media while expecting someone else to carry the burden. Every generation has a choice: become the guardians of liberty or become the generation that allowed it to slip away. The future of Texas—and America—isn’t determined by the loudest voices online. It’s determined by the men and women who are willing to stand up, get involved, and do the hard work that freedom has always required. Liberty is never guaranteed. It survives only as long as free people are willing to defend it.
The challenges facing Texas today are too large for a handful of people or a single organization to solve alone. If Texans want different outcomes, then Texans have to become participants instead of spectators.
Ask yourself:
* Have you attended your local city council meetings to testify against building new mosque in your town?
* Have you emailed or sat before your elected officials face to face telling them either step up, stop this invasion or you are going to lose my vote?
* Have you volunteered your time with an organization working on the issues you care about?
* Have you helped sound the alarm to other Texans, that a mosque was being planned/built in your community?
* Have you done anything beyond posting on social media?
If the answer is no, then understand this: social media doesn’t solve problems. It creates awareness at best. Texas Patriots taking action solve problems.
Too many people expect change to happen like ordering food through a drive-thru. They place their order (post on social media), pull up to the drive thru window (sit on the couch and wait), then wait for their order (expect the problem to be solved). That’s not how real victories happen. Investigations take time. Building organizations and movements takes time. Coordinating people across Texas takes time. Winning takes time, discipline, planning, and persistence.
Many of the problems people are angry about today didn’t appear overnight either. They developed over years while too many people assumed someone else would handle the issue. That’s why Texas has so many mosque built, communities overrun with terrorist who seek to destroy Texas. This has to stop.
And then there are those who respond on social media, to every effort Texas Patriots start putting together, with, “I’ll believe it when I see it.”
No, you won’t.
Because while you’re sitting on your couch waiting to be impressed, someone else is sacrificing their evenings, weekends, money, and time trying to protect the Texas you claim to love. These are patriots, these are sheep.
There’s 3 types of people in this world.
(1) Wolves:
Wolves seek to impose their will on others. Violent predators who harm others without remorse. They exploit the vulnerabilities of the sheep.
(2) Sheep:
Peaceful individuals who avoid conflict and are generally kind and gentle. They are often unaware of the dangers around them and wait for someone else to solve the problem.
(3) Sheepdogs:
Protectors who confront danger to defend the innocent. They possess the capacity for violence but use it to safeguard others. They stand up, organize, and protect the sheep.
Every Texan has to decide which one they want to be. Because right now there’s a lot of wolves & sheep.
One of the most frustrating comments we see is, “Just say when.” No. The time is now! What exactly are you waiting for? Waiting for someone else to fix the problem? Waiting until it’s too late? Waiting until the damage is irreversible? That’s not patriotism—that’s procrastination disguised as commitment. The people causing the problems aren’t waiting for your permission, and they certainly aren’t slowing down while you sit on the sidelines. Every day you delay getting involved is another day your opponents continue organizing, advancing their agenda, and gaining ground. That’s the difference between being reactive and proactive. Reactive people wait until the fire has already consumed the house before looking for a hose. Proactive people recognize the smoke early and get to work before the flames spread. If you truly believe Texas is worth defending, then stop asking, “Say when.” The answer has always been the same: Now. The fight doesn’t begin when someone gives you an invitation. It begins the moment you decide to stop watching and start participating.
Every time we hear someone say, “The government is lost. We won’t vote our way out of this.” I can’t help but ask: Where were you when there was still time to fight? Governments don’t become unresponsive overnight. They get there because too many citizens become disengaged, convinced that their voice doesn’t matter. The people of Texas are supposed to hold the government accountable—not the other way around. If you believe your local officials are failing you, ask yourself: Have I addressed them every time a city council or county commissioners meeting happened? Have you started a recall for those local politicians? Democracy doesn’t run on autopilot. When citizens step back, others step in to shape the outcome.
No single person. No single organization. No single leader is going to solve the challenges facing Texas alone. If you truly believe Texas is worth defending, then stop waiting for someone else to do it.
Step up!
Show up!
Get involved!
Volunteer!
Organize!
Hold your elected officials accountable!
Support the people already in the fight!
Make your voice be heard!
History won’t remember those who watched from the sidelines. It will remember those who answered the call when Texas needed them most.
