ave surfaced and are drawing on their deep resources and musical knowledge to bring a weekly radio program to WOWD-LP FM 94.3 Takoma Park on Monday from 4 - 6 pm, also available on the web at https://takomaradio.org/on-the-radio/
The program will feature sets from Steve and John in their own inimitable styles, presenting music from the earliest days of Rock and Roll and all that came after, in context with current albums and new artists, reflecting a continuum in rock styles. For your listening pleasure, we aim to provide a guide to selectively navigating what we believe are the best new releases in the multitudinous sea of music as well revisiting classics, favorites and obscure songs from the vast array of rock music. Discussions, interviews & concert listings are also on the menu. Though the program has deep roots in 60's rock, Rockcontinuum will be an eclectic mix of pop, rock, psych, freakbeat, garage, underground, progressive, alternative and electronic genres with a touch of jazz and avant-garde.
