GOVERNOR ENO SPLASHES N335M FOR ORO FARMERS, ENTREPRENEURS
…PROMISES FIVE MAJOR PROJECTS,OTHERS IN 2026 BUDGET

The Town Square meeting organized to afford Oron Federal Constituency opportunity to avail the Akwa Ibom State Governor of their needs, became another empowerment avenue for Governor Umo Eno as several indigenes smiled home with cash grants.

The cash totaling N335m naira were given to traders, farmers and business owners in the five local government areas of the federal constituency, including Oron, Okobo, Udung Uko, Urue Offong Oruko and Mbo.

51 million naira went to 108 farmers from the 2 billion naira farmers loan, 543 business men and women got 225 million naira, while 10 entrepreneurs received 5million naira each
The Governor who spoke at the occasion, said the presentations were done in line with his government’s policy of entrepreneurial and agricultural development.

“We have received the needs documents and we’re going to look at it local government by local government and work with it as it will form part of the 2026 budget christened ‘The People’s Budget.

“As you know, there are 31 local government areas and even if we cannot execute all the projects on this document, we will make sure we execute at least one from each of the five local government areas.

“Because we swore to be fair to all, we will not leave any federal constituency in the state behind.”

Governor Eno who expressed delight at the progress of the 14km Airport – Nsit Atai -Okobo Road, commended the contractor, Hensek Integrated Services, for the pace of work.

“That road has seen three successful government and has been used for campaigns, but today with the finishers anointing that God has given us, that road will be commissioned soon.”

The Governor used the occasion to announce that, “very soon, we shall be flagging off the construction of city gate into the Ibom deep seaport project and the sales center.”

How to grow watermelon

1. Choose a sunny location: Watermelons need full sun to thrive, so choose a spot in your garden that receives at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day.

2. Prepare the soil: Watermelons prefer well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Amend the soil with compost or aged manure before planting to provide the plants with the nutrients they need to grow.

8. Harvest: Watermelons are ready to harvest when the tendrils near the fruit turn brown and dry up, and the bottom of the fruit turns yellow. Cut the fruit from the vine with a sharp knife, leaving a few inches of stem attached. Enjoy your homegrown watermelon!

How to grow pineapples at home in containers: From pineapple tops to sweet rewards
1. Container Selection: Choose a large container with drainage holes to prevent waterlogging, ideally a 5-gallon one.
2. Potting Mix: Use well-draining potting mix with organic matter, adding perlite or sand for better drainage.
3. Prepare Pineapple Tops: Twist off leafy crowns from ripe pineapples, ensuring no fruit flesh remains. Let them air dry for a few days.

Stop Wasting Money On Insecticide: Get Salt, Kerosine And Any Detergent, and Do This.

Many have wasted alot of money on insecticide, not knowing that there's also another way through which you can get rid of insects both the ones flying and creeping in your house.

What it takes to get them permanently rid of in your house and compound is at your disposal.

It has been working, just that many people do not know about it.

Many of us make use of Kerosine, same as everyone uses Salt and detergent is in everyone's home because it is one of most used in many families.

Get an empty container (it could be Eva water empty container) get salt, Kerosine and any detergent of your choice and follow this steps provided below.

HOW TO MIX INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.

Get the empty container, pour about 10 tea spoon of Salt into the empty container, get any detergent of your choice, pour like 100 naira detergent into the container, Now get your Kerosine, pour till it gets to half of the container and then cover the container and shake it very well.

When you want to apply it, make a little hole on the cover of the container and apply gently.

Have you been disturbed by mosquitoes, bedbugs, ants, flies, centipede, snakes, lizard, insects, reptiles of all sorts, both creeping and flying insects, now their ends are here.
After mixing ingredients together, you can now apply them where necessary to kill any insects disturbing your peace in the house.

Apply in and around your compound every three (3) months to avoid snakes and any creepy creature, for bedbugs, apply it around the affected places including on the foam and see the wonder of the mixture.

For mosquitoes, drop around some strategic places around your room and leave for 20mins, your peace is restored.

For flies, drop around the places, and u won't see them again.
