Hey everyone, Connor here.

First and foremost, I want to say thank you all for continuing to tune in to 91.7 The Edge. As you all know, our Comrex unit had been down for quite some time...it shut down literally moments before the first home football game! During that time, I know many of you had grown frustrated with the lack of Warhawk football over the air. Believe me, no one may have been more frustrated than me. Having that happen, and it being down longer than it ever had been at least during my time here, was incredibly frustrating. Not being able to have Eric and Joe, two of the best announcers around, call the games felt like a crime.

However, good news: the system is up and running, and we fully intend to get this week's game, as well as any home playoff games (and hopefully a National Championship game) on the air!

To those of you who were frustrated, mad, etc., I want to apologize for the long delay. However, we all know that technology never works when and how you want it to at times, so I ask that you all were at least a little understanding and patient.

To everyone in general, thank you so much for bearing with us while we tried to pinpoint what was wrong.

As for the live stream, that is still being worked on because again...technology in 2018. However, when that is up and running, either I or one of the many fine folks at 91.7 will update you as soon as possible. For those of you who want to tune into HawkTalk, UWW-TV simulcasts our shows over at uwwtv.org.

Meet our host and Sports Director, Connor!

Meet the eboard!

Connor Moore will be a senior in the fall and is the Sports Director for 91.7 The Edge! As the Sports Director, Connor hosts and manages HawkTalk (the radio show in which students discuss sporting events), schedules announcers for UW-Whitewater sports broadcasts, and ensures the station has presence at UW-Whitewater sporting events. Connor is excited to be on the eboard because he is eager to see how everyone grows throughout the year. A fun fact about him is that he once rapped a Will Smith song while he was in Show Choir!
