As the year winds down, we’re looking back at standout VMAN cover moments. Early in 2025, we launched our Spring/Summer issue with actor Theo James in —a knockout edition built around everything a modern VMAN needs for the seasons ahead, from buzzy new releases to essential grooming routines and more.

Captured in North London by , James appears at the start of what became a major year for him: he stars in Osgood Perkins’s horror film The Monkey, based on Stephen King’s 1980 short story—a project he describes to VMAN as “a super dark, super violent comedy.”

In his cover story, James opens up about the real reason he got into acting, his fantasy of being in a band, and the challenges actors face on the road to “making it big.”

This fall, touched down in Cambridge at Harvard Business School, where he spoke with students about his path from internet breakout star to Hollywood multi-hyphenate—and creator of Amazon’s buzzy series “Overcompensating,” already renewed for a second season, which he’s in the middle of writing. “I just turned in another draft, so we’re cooking.”

What began as a simple campus visit quickly snowballed into a heart-to-heart with MBA students, improv sessions, and a surreal induction into The Harvard Lampoon. For Skinner, who once felt too closeted in college to fully put himself out there, stepping inside the Lampoon felt like, as he puts it, “a nice full-circle moment.”

Happy 42nd birthday, Adam Driver!

Driver is living proof that life’s detours can change everything. After an injury led to his discharge from the Marines, he found his way into acting school—and soon after, onto HBO’s “Girls.” From there, he shot into leading-man territory with roles like Kylo Ren in”Star Wars” and standout performances in “Marriage Story,” “House of Gucci,” “Ferrari,” and more.
