Your business doesn’t need you to be like ‘her.’ It needs you to be YOU. The same goes for your social media strategy too. Just be yourself.
The posts that land aren’t the ones that look perfect—they’re the ones that feel personal.

Your social media strategy should work for you, not exhaust you.

If you're constantly playing catch-up with content, chasing trends, or posting just to check a box, you're not alone. But burnout isn't a strategy.
A thoughtful plan—one that aligns with your energy, your message, and your actual goals—can be the difference between showing up with confidence or not showing up at all.
Give yourself permission to simplify. The algorithm won’t notice if stop stressing about social media, but your nervous system definitely will.
🌀 Start with one clear intention. Then build around that.
👉 What would “sustainable content” look like for you?

Social media can be frustrating....for all of us.
I like to keep things simple which includes my brain energy towards social.
Here's a few things I remind myself of when I feel like I'm on the struggle bus with my social media traction.
Things I Control:
✔️Showing up.
✔️Being Authentic.
✔️Doing my best to create content that delivers.

Things I Can't Control:
❌Algorithms.
❌What people think of me.
❌The things others in my industry are doing.

Is there anything you would add to either list?

If you are struggling for ideas to use when creating content -- here's one of my favorite questions to answer on social media.

"What do people always ask me?" Have you considered this as an option when creating your content? I'm sure the answers could give you several posts over the next few weeks.

My top 3 question are
❓How often do I have to post to make the algorithm happy?
❓What is the best way / or / is to ok to schedule posts?
❓What do I even say?
➡️ The 4th question is usually how they can work with me and that's the easiest of all because the answer is "just send me a message" conversation always starts to make things good things happen.

What is one of the most common question people as about your business or services?

As a kid when I was considering next steps, my parents always asked,
"why not?"
or
"what's the worst that could happen?"

Now as an entrepreneur I still ask myself those same two questions whenever evaluating my next steps.

Summer is a great time to take a deep dive into your marketing strategy and your plan for Q4.

⭐Who do you serve?
⭐How do you help solve their problems?
⭐Is your message clear enough for them to believe you are speaking to them?
⭐Are your bios and email signatures up to date?
⭐What about those profile pictures? They could probably use some updating too.

What started as a catchy tagline turned into a movement—and now, it’s a legally protected trademark! 💥
“What The Funk” is officially mine, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
A massive THANK YOU to Cheri D. Andrews, Esq. for being my rock through the trademark process. Her expertise made it all feel effortless on my end.
Paperwork? Done. ✔
Protection? Locked in.✔
Stress? Nonexistent. ✔
She even helped me figure out a word that fit, instead of the actual F word, since you can't trademark cuss words.
This moment? It’s a vibe. And it’s protected

An app I use has a new feature "ask me anything" and the suggested question was "What should I post today to get the most engagement?"
Being curious, I just selected the question and waited for the answer. Here's what it said...

To get the most engagement today, consider these factors and tips based on current social media trends:
💡Know Your Audience: Tailor your content to what your followers care about—whether it’s humor, inspiration, education, or trending topics.
💡Trending Topics: Posting about current events, viral challenges, or popular culture can boost engagement. Check trending hashtags or news.
💡Visual Content: Bright, high-quality images or videos tend to perform best. Short videos, reels, or stories work great on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
💡Interactive Posts: Use polls, quizzes, questions, or call-to-actions like “Tag a friend who...” or “What do you think about...?”
💡Authenticity: Share personal stories, behind-the-scenes moments, or relatable content to foster a connection.
💡Timing: Post when your audience is most active. Common peak times are early morning, lunch breaks, and early evenings.
💡Hashtags & SEO: Use relevant hashtags and keywords to increase discoverability.

I found the suggestions mostly helpful. Which one do you think is the biggest take away?

💥If you’d like, I can help you craft a specific post idea for your particular platform and audience—just let me know what kind of content you usually share!
