After spending 25 years organizing major events in Washington, D.C., Clarksburg native Angela Leipold returned home and has become an advocate for revitalizing her hometown.
A Notre Dame High School graduate, Leipold’s career included work with the Smithsonian Institution and the opening of the National Museum of the American Indian.
Back in Clarksburg, she has helped transform The Morris, a restored historic warehouse, into an event venue while also sharing her passion for vintage goods through Allora Vintage.
Leipold serves on the boards of the Clarksburg History Museum and Uptown Clarksburg, supporting efforts to strengthen the city’s business, cultural and artistic community.
She is one of four recipients of the 2026 Women Inspiring Success Awards, presented by the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.
The recipients will be recognized Wednesday, October 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brickside Bar & Grill in Bridgeport.
