The HPD is asking for assistance in locating Hallie Hardesty. Hallie is 17 years old and was last seen on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. She was last seen wearing a red hoodie and shorts. She is not missing under suspicious circumstances.

The Missoula Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 32-year-old Shaun Oelschlager. He is described as 5’06” tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. His clothing at the time he went missing is unknown.

Shaun was last heard from via text message around 1700 hours (5:00 PM) on Monday, March 31st, stating he was driving out of Missoula. He is believed to be traveling in a 2019 Dodge Ram Rebel, Montana license plate I1589.

If you have any information regarding Shaun’s whereabouts or if you see him or his vehicle, please call 911 immediately. He is currently listed as a missing person.

The Missoula Police Department regrets to report that today, shortly after 4:00pm, Danit Ehrlich’s body was recovered from the Clark Fork River near Beartracks Bridge. Ms. Ehrlich and her dog, Bamba, been reported missing and were believed to have drowned on February 21, 2025.

Earlier today, Missoula Police Officers responded to a 911 call in which a caller reported a human body in the river. Upon arrival and confirming the report, the MPD requested the assistance of the Missoula Fire Department personnel to assist in the recovery.

A Missoula County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Coroner conducted a preliminary examination and confirmed the decedent was Ms. Ehrlich. Unfortunately, Bamba has not been recovered.

Ms. Ehrlich’s family has been notified of this recovery, and we send our support and condolences to all her family, friends and loved ones.
