“The Boogievision” is a dynamic project by artist and producer Ian Ash, released under Boogie Butt Records. This collection showcases Ian Ash’s unique interpretations of classic tracks, infused with his distinctive boogie and funk style. The project features a cover of Alicia Myers’ “I Want to Thank You,” performed by Ella May, and a rendition of “Try Again,” originally created by Fostin with Jessie Wagner. Each track is meticulously crafted, with all elements played live, capturing the authentic essence of the original compositions while introducing a fresh, modern twist. “The Boogievision” exemplifies Ian Ash’s dedication to producing dance floor-ready music that bridges the gap between the nostalgic sounds of the late ’70s and ’80s and contemporary funk influences

LORD FUNK "Breaking To The Bus Stop", is an album dedicated to B.Boying, the break, ; one of the four elements of Hip Hop. It's a dance challenge, a "Battle" that can take place at any time, in the street, the metro, a bus stop... to settle scores.
Lord Funk composed most of these tracks for the Arte series "BBOYS, A history of Breaking" and "Boys & Girls Africa", and by popular demand decided to develop them into break battle anthems.
A few more donuts such as the "Perkushun / Latin Breakdown / Tex Mex Breaking" have been added to the cypher. 2 of the tracks including the series' theme song were composed with my DJ LC Laurent Cohen , from Légitime Processus. Strictly for hard core power moves 🔥

Surrounded by fantastic musicians such as Mathieu Karcher, Olivier Magarotto and Jérôme Billeter, I was able to give my all to offer my vision of this track! No samples, everything is played from A to Z! Welcome to Ian Ash's "Boogievision
The remix of my cover of I Want to Thank You, originally sung by Ms Alicia Myers, by the offensive combo of Mr Doris and D-Funk. I've always loved the energy Mr Doris puts into his dj sets, his science of the dance floor and his always positive attitude. I've also always been a fan of D-Funk's productions.
And the instrumental version
On the B-side, originally created by Fostin with Jessie Wagner, I was able to get permission to do my own Acid-Jazz version. Jessica needs no introduction, thanks to her enormous vocal prowess. She has toured the world with Lenny Kravitz, Chic, Kid Rock, Stevie Van Zandt and Duran Duran. To name but a few.
