Picture This Creatuve lead Charlotte Windle Mikkelborg will be hosting a fireside chat with Dame Melanie Dawes, Chief Executive of Ofcom UK independent communications regulator, this evening at Made by Many as part of the New College, Oxford (University of Oxford) Media Network series.

The conversation will delve into the current state of broadcasting in the UK, the sustainability of our public service broadcasters and what the future might hold. We’ll also be hitting upon the new Online Safety Act that Dawes and Ofcom are in charge of policing. Will the act go far enough to protect people from illegal hate speech online and specifically protection of the under 18s?

Our ‘Time Investigators’ Tudor room inside Griffin Hall at the JW Marriott, Austin, Texas, where we’re inviting budding Sherlocks to step inside our first game and investigate the mysterious sinking of Henry VIII’s favourite warship, the Mary Rose.

Time Investigators is the world’s first multisensory game. Use your mobile phone and a sensory backpack to investigate genuine mysteries from history. The remote version without scent is also available on app and play stores.

Just over a week to go until this awesome event being chaired by Picture This Productions Director, Charlotte Mikkelborg. Today we are launching the world’s first multi-sensory AR game ‘Time Detectives’ in which players experience the sights, sounds and smells of the past while exploring some of history’s greatest mysteries.

In our first installment of ‘Time Detectives: The Mystery of the Mary Rose’, players step back in time to investigate the mysterious sinking of Henry VIII’s favourite warship on 19th July 1545.

Created in collaboration with The Mary Rose, the game will become available at the museum in time for this month’s anniversary of the sinking, while the remote game (minus scent) is live on the Apple app store and Google Play Store from today. To access just scan QR code in next post
