I don’t know about you, but I think we all know the story.
Jesus, the One Who came to make things right, the One Who loved perfectly, was left alone in His suffering. Abandoned by friends. Mocked. Spit on. Humiliated. The very people He came to save turned their backs on Him. And still... He loved.
What is wrong with us?
We elevate people in the wrong places. We celebrate the powerful, the glamorous, the loudest voices in the room. We chase the sparkle of influence, the appearance of success, the illusion of truth. We lift up humans as if they’re gods, while the One Who is God Who walked among us, Who gave everything is ignored, doubted, or forgotten...
There have been many who have truly lived for Christ... quietly, sacrificially, faithfully. Some were persecuted. Most were never recognized. Yet today, we are easily persuaded by what shines on the surface, and we forget the weight of eternal things.
This world is upside down.
Think.
Who are we really following? Who are we lifting up? Are we drawn to what is true?
Examine the heart.
Are we drawn in by what we hear... what may seem like expressions of faith, or what sounds like truth. But when you examine it closely… it misleads. It’s a mirage.
Sounds real.
Sounds right.
And just because someone mentions Jesus…
Just because they attach His Name to their message, their movement, or their platform doesn’t mean it truly reflects Him or His love.
It’s time to adhere to the One Who flipped the tables, Who lifted the broken, Who carried a cross meant for all of us. It’s time to stop being impressed by what impresses the world and be transformed by the One Who was despised by it.
Love NOT hate. Unite in His Spirit NOT divide.
