A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of on the site this week

It has been a week here with the year ending and then starting back up, so we have more video games to play out there. Granted, it was a little on the lighter side as many of the teams and studios were out there celebrating, but we did have quite a few things to bring up. I mean, we saw come to an end, but still live on in , along with when we will be able to play : Blades Of Greed in this new year. A little more for , and then a few indie games that will lead us into next week. Yes, the tech convention snuck up on all of us again, and that little hype train has pulled out of the station too, even if they do not usually highlight many specific video games and more of the hardware to play them on.

Head deep into a new Metro station with the announcement that we have for the upcoming : The Metro

I know that many of us have had some experience in the setting, but Hunted Within: is ready to take us further underground and have us pilot our own train to survival. As long as you are ready, get on board with the new title that LRDev Games is gearing up to give us on the here. A new title that will have the darkness we can expect in the tunnels of the Metro systems, while trying to make sure we have enough gameplay that makes it stand out from the others. Not that it will be easy to mix it all up with how this one is looking and flowing when compared to the others we have seen over the years. If you know, you know. Now, let's ride on down to see just what is going on in this one.

Gameplay for the upcoming FPS Quest shows off how we will need to simulate low FPS to make it through

As gamers out there, we all have the mythical frames per second that we think are the best, and now FPS Quest is going to show you how that might not always be the case. At least as part of the gameplay in the title that Farlight Games Industry is putting together for us. Here we have a title where the FPS is your health, but having a lower setting in the game world of FPS Quest can also lead to some great little risks and rewards. As long as the following gameplay we have to share is any true indication of what is going on out there. I am sure that all sounds weird, so let us just jump into the gameplay we do have to see if we can make a little more sense out of it all.

Another psychological horror title, Dread Neighbor, is on the way to us all with going into some darkness

More of the modern and foreign fears are on the way into the world with the reveal for Dread Neighbor. A new title that Ghostcase and Erabit are working on for the that will carry on a legacy of fear from a past title. All in a first-person and dark setting filled with many other nightmares, it would seem. Mostly, from what we can gather, Dread Neighbor will be more of the fear of others and what your neighbors might actually be up to. Something that I know many in a rundown area of a massive city might go through on a daily basis. Highlighting even more the darkness of being a human out there, when it could be easier for us all to get along. But, I digress. Let's have a look at what has been revealed for the game up to now.
