Although Stuart hasn’t been in a position to do the podcast for awhile, we were all invited to join the Beyond the Boxart podcast group to do a “special” joint show yesterday. Terry and I were able to join in and we had a great time with Paul Pendleton-Brown, Shane Cowie and Dan Brazil! It will drop at some point in the next month or so, but I just wanted everyone to know that we aren’t dead yet!

Well, just got back from Heritagecon 2026 at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton, Ontario and once again, IPMS Hamilton and CWHM did a great job. Last I heard there were over 1,500 paid spectators and almost 1,000 builds on display, all of very high quality. Tim Kidwell from Finescale Modeller was there, as were the Plastic Posse guys. I want to give a personal shout out to all of you who came up to me and asked about Stuart Clark, who couldn’t be there because… life. I did pass on your best wishes to Stuart and his spouse and he thanks you all. I only bought one kit though, but judging from the piles of stuff going out the doors I think the vendors did very well anyway.

Geoff here - I have been struggling with my large collection of unfinished projects lately, given the absence of the podcast, for good and unfortunate reasons. One big one is the Boeing 747 SCA in 1/144 scale. This has been a frigging albatross for far too long! No more! I must conquer it. So on I go - scratch built shuttle mounts were the bugbear, as the kit was missing them. Then the bloody decals! Moving slowly along!
