The Houston Galleria Mall in 1979. The mall opened on Nov. 15, 1970 and when I first saw this place in 1973 I was absolutely blown away. You can see the ice-skating rink in this photo. In 1973 my dad said "I doubt it will last long," pointing out the skylight overhead. It's still there. Do you have any favorite memories of the Galleria?
