MUTEK AI Ecologies Lab and CLOT Magazine present a three-part editorial series exploring the ethical and sustainable use of AI in the cultural sector, authored by Patrick Tanguay.
The MUTEK AI Ecologies Lab is an interdisciplinary residency dedicated to fostering innovative, responsible approaches to artificial intelligence in creative fields.
In this article, generalist, synthesist, and curator Patrick Tanguay examines the Lab's core themes, its place in the broader discourse on sustainable AI, and the selected projects shaping the future of AI-driven art.

MUTEK AI Ecologies Lab is a collaboration between MUTEK Montréal, the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT), the Applied AI Institute, the Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology at Concordia and Abundant Intelligences.
