It didn't take long for Arizona State to set the tone. The Sun Devils rolled Morgan State 70-7 in Saturday's season opener — a blowout so lopsided that both head coaches and the referee mutually agreed to shorten the fourth quarter to 10 minutes, something that hadn't happened since South Alabama–Northwestern State two years ago.
Kentucky transfer Cutter Boley made his ASU debut count: 21-of-27 for 387 yards and six touchdowns. The competition spikes next week, when ASU heads to Kyle Field to face the No. 8 Texas A&M Aggies.
