🌟 Celebrating Empowerment and Community 🌟

We at Tallahassee Woman Magazine are thrilled to highlight the incredible ninth annual Women United Leadership Breakfast, hosted by United Way of the Big Bend last week. This event unites women from all walks of life to raise awareness about the ALICE population—an acronym for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed—who face unique challenges in our community.

A heartfelt congratulations to our CEO, Berneice Cox, and the esteemed chair, Dr. Andrea Friall, along with all the dedicated individuals whose efforts made this event possible. With an inspiring turnout of 500 strong women, we gathered not only to listen to our phenomenal speaker but also to amplify our commitment to uplifting those in need.

This gathering is more than just a breakfast; it is a powerful reminder of the strength and potential we have when we come together as a community. Our collective efforts raise essential funds that fuel the transformative work of United Way, helping to create pathways out of poverty for those who need it most.

Let us continue to empower one another, advocate for change, and support initiatives that elevate our community. Together, we can make a profound difference! Women United.
