What’s Your Definition of Success?
When I was a kid, life didn’t make success look easy for me. Growing up around hustlers, addicts, and dysfunction, I could’ve easily let my circumstances define me. But the thing is, I knew deep down that my situation didn’t have to dictate my story. I wasn’t going to be another statistic—I was going to hustle my way to something better. And that’s where the real power lies.
The journey to success isn’t about the money, the fame, or the titles. Trust me, I’ve seen it all and lived through it. It’s about defining success on your terms—taking complete control over the decisions you make, the direction you go, and who you become.
For me, success is freedom—freedom to live life on my own terms, to make my own choices, to love and protect the people closest to me, and to create opportunities for others. It’s about ownership. Ownership of my time, my future, and my impact.
So, ask yourself today: What does success really mean to you? Are you chasing someone else’s definition of it, or are you building the life YOU want to live? Your challenges aren’t holding you back—they’re the lessons that shape your success.
It’s time to redefine what winning looks like for you. Whatever you’ve been through, no matter where you’re at right now, you have the power to take control and boss up. Own your hustle. Own your life. Own your story.
