THIS SUNDAY 28/11:::: haunted soundscapes, layman poetry and, in the hay of it all, revelations: unreal sonic mysteries come out to play in this first collaboration between KRAAK and In Vitro. Conjuring these sublime visions and surrealist confessions will be Canada's Barn Sour with his haunted be***al glossolalia, Britain's Duncan Harrison with his environmental disarmings, and Taiwan's Tzu Ni's with her spatial poetry unleashed in time ~ sensory criss-crossing with a side of probable disquiet await 🐴

THIS THURSDAY AT SMOG IS KROG III: featuring pianist Catharina Evens, who experiments with various techniques that challenge and play with the general perception of the piano. By using the instrument's body and its rich resonant structure to amplify electronically manipulated acoustic sounds, she strives to create what she envisions as one unified sonic body. Through granular textures, playful fickleness, passing gust of sounds, minuscule dots, moving pianistic passages, percussive accents and rhythmic sequences, she creates her own absurd sound world full of narrative fragments 〰️
