I wonder what song will be playing in my head
I wonder what sentence I’ll quote
And from what book or which person
What will be my soul’s desire?
Will I have fulfilled all my goals?
Would I have lived my dreams?
Will I have found my purpose?
Will I have fulfilled it to its fullest?
Will I be proud of the life I’ve lived?
Will I be remembered and cherished?
Or will I be forgotten as though I meant nothing to the universe?
What song will they sing for my departure?
Will the Angels be there to claim what is left of what used to be me?
