I currently book 35 bands a month and in touch with most of the Bay area bookers asking me about bands constantly. I have been messaged by hundreds of bands about playing Solar Van Saturdays, The Ivy Room and the Baltic Kiss. I would like to make a statement for all to see. If you want to play a show with us please come out and support any event and you will have a way better chance at getting booked. I am trying to build a community of artists and musicians. If I book you and you can't follow simple instructions like rsvp'ing to the event page or promoting on your Facebook and Instagram you will never be booked by me again. If your band leaves right after their set I will never book you again. I don't feel like i am asking too much from anyone and if you can't do the bare minimum to promote or stay to watch other bands don't be surprised when i never book you again. I spend hundreds of hours promoting my shows and hanging flyers and really caring about everything i touch. I spend Thousands of dollars of my own money putting shows on and provide a complete backline for everyone to use. I feel like this statement is necessary because bands have become really lazy and don't promote and also leave right after they play often and it makes me sick. Thanks for reading!!!!
