Our old friends Krallice ( ) will be artist in residence for 2026. They will perform three sets over the course of the weekend. One for early material. One for their recent material. And one for new music commissioned by Roadburn.

Hello yall. A rare check-in here from GLM hq. Some important cosmic alignment is occurring and it requires a bit of historical reflection and nostalgia posting.

Two of the first black metal ish releases I ever worked on were back in 2008-2009, the split LP between Leech and Thou, and the debut Krallice album. Growing up a hardcore kid I hadn’t historically enjoyed a lot of black metal I’d been exposed to at that point. But Krallice and Leech composed unique interpretations utilizing BM influences and they were so fu***ng intriguing to me. It opened my eyes to what I could enjoy about the genre and lead me to find a lot of lesser known bands that actually clicked with me.

Now, over fifteen years later we have a perfect unifying moment. As many of you know, Paul of Leech went on to form Blood Incantation, while Krallice became a prolific and chaotic force in experimental metal. Now the two of them are joining forces for a once in a life time journey. I can safely say this may be the sickest tour lineup I’ve ever seen. Ultimate sonic expansion. True innovative sound exploration and development (real ones know).

It’s the beginning of my weekend, so gonna go enjoy that with some weight training and pool chilling.

It’s a wonderful day at Gilead Media HQ. I was at the shop bright and early this morning to receive three pallets of Mizmor & Hell “Alluvion” LPs. They turned out wonderful and sound great. The roots of this release reach deep into our history, 13 years since we first worked with Hell and 11 years since we first worked with Mizmor. Alluvion is a perfect capstone to all this history of collaboration with them both as we round the turn on the final Gilead releases. I’m very proud to have helped ALN and MSW along on their journey and very much looking forward to where they go next. Love to them both and everyone else involved in making this wonderful release happen. Thank you to all that have supported the art. We will begin shipping these today and Evil Greed will have their copies soon as well, shipping to them early next week. Redeye will have copies for US retail in the next month or so. The clearing draws ever nearer, travelers.

The collaborative album from Mizmor and Hell is streaming everywhere now. Physical formats and shirts are on schedule to be shipping to everyone throughout the month as expected. I’ve known MSW and ALN for quite some time now, meeting them both in person for the first time at Gilead Fests 2012 and 2014 when Hell played each time. Watching them both grow as both artists and people has been a true honor. Providing some support to artists to help amplify their energy into the cosmos is an experience I’m grateful for in this life. Much respect and gratitude to all those that have supported this release as we enter our final phase of the label. A couple more to come. Stay tuned for now…

Today I am stoked to reveal details and a single for the new collaborative album from MIZMOR and HELL, Alluvion, and I’m so glad I get to work with ALN and MSW on one more new record. CD, LP, and shirt are available to preorder from Gilead Media now (and Evil Greed in the EU) while the cassette is available direct from Mizmor. The album is out 4/4/25.

The stories of Mizmor and Hell are, for all intents and purposes, inextricably intertwined. For twenty years A.L.N. (Mizmor) and M.S.W. (Hell) have been orbiting the same fertile creative circles in the Pacific Northwest. They’ve done stints as live/touring members for each other’s solo endeavors and they’ve contributed their distinctive voices to each other’s recordings. A.L.N. and M.S.W. even aligned their cathartic outlets for a now impossible to find Mizmor/Hell split, unleashed upon the world in 2014. A collaboration record like Alluvion feels as if it was always predestined.

The blueprint for Alluvion had been drafted long ago and it wallowed in obscurity, its memory swirling in the ether, patiently waiting for a rogue spark to manifest its existence. And, as luck would have it, when A.L.N. and M.S.W. once again found themselves in the midst of each other’s boundless creative universes, they were now prepared to undertake the monumental task.

A.L.N. and M.S.W. intend for the compositions on Alluvion to be used as a map to help navigate the listener through bouts of psychic distress, touching upon emotions both terribly familiar and wholly extrinsic. Pensive, tranquil movements combust into passages of absolutely soul-searing sludge. Suffocating, blackened doom bursts out of unknown crevasses; punctuated by the unsettling voices of beings doing their damnedest to claw their way out of canyons carved by mental anguish. It’s a harrowing journey, but one that seeks to provide a necessary catharsis. Alluvion is meant to act as a lens into the mind’s seemingly mystifying geography; a vessel for the self-exploration of the complex terrains of the human psyche.
