CALL FOR ARTISANS
Echo-Lit will be hosting a holiday artisan market in our workshop studio from November 24-December 30. To launch our artisan market, we are hosting a market opening Monday November 24.

As a brick and mortar shop open six days a week, we offer artists and craftspeople more availability to shoppers to view and purchase throughout the holiday shopping season.

We are looking for artwork and craft items from a wide range of media and craft traditions - original traditional fine art, prints, ornaments, fiber art (crochet, knit-work, embroidery, etc.), woodwork, ceramics, folk art, jewelry, and more!

To cover processing fees, taxes, etc. we will collect a 20% commission from the price of items sold.

I'm heartbroken to share that my dear friend and artist, Dave Ball, has passed away.

Dave wasn't just a pioneer — he was a true original. From the first day we met, his sound, his vision, and his mischievous genius defined what Some Bizzare was all about. He could take electricity and turn it into emotion.

Working with him was one of the great privileges of my life. His legacy will live on in every beat, every pulse, every strange and beautiful noise he left behind.

Rest easy, Dave. The world's a quieter place without you — but your sound will never fade.

Remember, as Federal funding gets cut for food banks and feeding programs, the need continues to grow. Please consider reaching out to your state, county, and city government officials to ask if there is a line item in their budget to better support these programs. And if no provision exists, ask them if they would consider adding funds on the next budget to support the feeding of West Virginians who face food insecurity.

About 15% of West Virginia’s population — one in seven people — is struggling with hunger. Among the most-impacted are children and senior citizens. “We have to figure out a way forward, whether that’s through the community-based organizations or through state resources or federal resources, or, most likely all of the above. We’ve got to find a way forward … Because one setback — a doctor bill, a car breakdown, your heat pump goes bad — one little thing like that can set a family back years. It’s hard for those families. let's get out and support our friends at Seeds Of Hope For Haiti and the kids they feed and educate! this is going to be an AMAZING night of music. all the love to Woodly Baptiste from SOHFH and Sar from Hello June xo

I'm bringing some of my favorite people together to put on an event that will help our sweet friends in Haiti keep their school running. If you've followed us for a while, you've seen me mention Seeds Of Hope For Haiti. Recently they have been put in some tough situations and were at risk for losing their school that feeds and educates about 150 students. We've become real big cheerleaders for these students and at this point I call Woodly, the school's founder, a friend, so we're gonna do our best to help them out in their time of need and we're gonna do so by bringing people together to buy some great art and hear a couple of West Virginia's best songwriters. Please join us for this wonderful evening.
