Update! I have been mulling all that’s next for the IBW and I’m excited! I was so burnt out last year and needed this break to evaluate what is the IBW. I’m still in the figuring it out stage but I just wanted to send y’all a picture of my face to say I haven’t forgotten about this podcast/brand and all the women I have met and will meet through this platform. I have a vision for this community of black women sharing their stories in a way that explores the nuances and the beauty of living a black woman’s experience. I want this to be a platform that heals, lifts us up while also leaving us overcome with joy, passion and wonder. Ugh, I love that and while I don’t have it completely clear in my head I’m working on it because we deserve those spaces. Spaces where we’re free to be and feel overwhelming love for who we are to the core. This post was kinda long but in this next chapter I would love to hear what you love about IBW, what maybe you would like to see or even feel would be a productive change for the brand.
