The Brisbane Festival Riverfire festivities kicked off in style today above the city, with the Royal Australian Air Force showing off their The Boeing Company C-17 Globemaster III from No.36 Squadron and Leonardo Company C-27J Spartan from No.35 Squadron. What an incredible sight over Brisbane today! Proud to witness Royal Australian Air Force 36 Squadron's mighty C-17A Globemaster III putting on an impressive display, showcasing the power and precision of our Royal Australian Air Force.

And making its Australian Retirement Trust Brisbane Festival Riverfire debut 35 Squadron's C-27J Spartan! 🎉 Amazing to see this versatile tactical airlifter take to the Brisbane skies for the first time at this iconic event.

The sight of these magnificent aircraft against the Brisbane skyline, simply unforgettable!

Thank you to all the RAAF personnel who made these displays possible.

Practice flights for this year's display kick off Thursday in Brisbane with the C-17A Globemaster III and C-27J Spartan, followed by a pair of EA-18G Growlers on Friday.

Its nearly that time of year again, we are exactly one week out from Brisbane Festival River Fire event hosted by Australian Retirement Trust.

We take a look back at last years event in our interview with F/A-18F Super Hornet pilot 'Clutch' and Weapon System Operator 'Gassr' from Royal Australian Air Force's No.1 Squadron.
