On Friday, Paco Cathcart, the longtime New York underground fixture who has previously released a rich discography under the name The Cradle, will release Down on Them, their first record under their own name.

Where The Cradle records showed Cathcart to be a master of lo-fi solo recording, Down On Them sees them engage with studio fidelity and a full band, composed of Paco bassist Miriam Elhajli, Keyboardist Ellie Shannon, and Drummer Bailey Wollowitz (fantasy of a broken heart, Water From Your Eyes). The album's release has been preceded by the singles "Bottlenneck Blues" and "Invasive Species," and today Paco is providing a final preview of the LP with the Spanish-language single "Ella Vive Sola."
