Last month, more than 100 of Colorado’s legislative officials, funders, developers, advocates, and community members joined alongside the Neighborhood Development Collaborative, and for a candid conversation about the state of affordable housing in Colorado.

This year’s roundtable, Home for All: Colorado’s Affordable Housing Conversation, arrived at a critical moment for Colorado. On October 23, Buzze, Koelbel and Company, and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston came together to celebrate the installation of new EV chargers at Sienna Sloans Lake, part of a larger initiative to bring electric vehicle infrastructure to affordable multifamily communities across Denver.

Aspendale, a newly launched active adult housing brand, recently celebrated the grand opening of the Welcome Center and Sales Office for Aspendale Northglenn, the brand’s second Colorado community designed for residents aged 55 and older.

Aspendale was launched by Headwaters Group, a Denver-based real estate owner and developer, in response to a growing need for housing that bridges the gap between traditional multifamily living and full-service senior housing.

Metropolitan State University of Denver has officially broken ground on its first on-campus student housing complex in the school’s 60-year history.
