📖 Gratitude in Writing: Next up, TE Lane Author!

For T.E. Lane, that story is The Cornbread Letters. Some of its family dynamics were inspired by real relationships, making this mystery-paranormal-family-drama hybrid one of the author’s most personal works to date.

We are grateful to have been a part of bringing this story to life!

📚 Gratitude in Writing

We're continuing our November series with Macy Cochran!

The story she is most thankful for is Between the Ocean and the Stars. She shared that this book didn’t just reach readers, it shaped her path as an author. It gave her unforgettable “firsts,” brought her closer to her audience, and reminded her of the nostalgic coastal trips she took growing up. It’s a story she’ll always be grateful for.

📖 Gratitude in Writing: Arthur McMaster

This November, we’re asking our authors to reflect on the stories that mean the most to them.

For Arthur McMaster, that story is “The Separation of Specialist Piatrowsky,” his first published short story, which appeared in The Wisconsin Review back in the early ’90s. Swipe to read more!

Gratitude in Writing continues with Peter Berk Author ! ✏

This month our authors share the story they’re most thankful to have written and the meaning behind those stories.

Today, we spotlight Peter Berk, co-author of the TimeLock series, who reflects on a project that carries deep personal significance:

"Writing the "TimeLock" novels - most based on screenplays I wrote with my late dad Howard Berk ("Columbo," "Mission: Impossible") will always represent my most rewarding writing experience because it allows me to "collaborate" with my father yet again and honor his memory years after his passing. My profound thanks to IngramElliott Publishing for making this dream come true and to everyone who's supported the "TimeLock" series since it was first introduced three years ago!"

Introducing our new series: Gratitude in Writing

This month we asked our authors which story they’re most thankful to have written and the meaning behind it.

We’re kicking things off with A.L. Glennon , author of Hungry, who reflects:
"Every story I've ever written has its own special place in my heart, but Hungry is a love letter to the driven people I was surrounded with as a teen as well as a confession of my own hidden uncertainties and insecurities as I faced young adulthood. I'm thankful that it was championed by IngramElliott so that other teens with big dreams and, perhaps, even bigger struggles might see themselves in its pages."

Stay tuned as we explore more gratitude and storytelling!
