All-Star Gospel Celebration
Celebrating the FAITH kicking-off NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND 2023 in Salt Lake City UTAH will mark our 16th Anniversary! All-Star Gospel Celebration is the “OFFICIAL” NBA Gospel/Inspirational Event during NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND. Founded in 2005, and first held during the 2006 NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston, TX. ts Community during the NBA All-Star Weekend Festivities! ASGC was created to Glorify God amidst the Glitz, Glamour and Games, “kicking off” NBA All-Star Weekend. Each year since its conception, the All-Star Gospel Celebration has done just that. Creating a positive, uplifting and exciting atmosphere, all while benefiting deserving charitable causes. Now in it’s 16th year, All-Star Gospel Celebration (formerly known as All-Star Gospel Brunch) has become a staple event during NBA All-Star Weekend! We’ve hosted and/or honored celebrities and sports figures such as Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas, TV Personality Star Jones, Cookie Johnson, Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, Comedian Chris Tucker, Comedian Jonathan Slocumb, Music Mogul Producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Martin Luther King III, Pastor Paula White, Dr. Jamal Bryant, CNN's/TV-One's Roland Martin, Radio-One/Tv-One Founder Cathy Hughes and the Official National Basketball Wives Association to name a few. NBA VP of Operations-Kiki VanDeWeghe, former NBA All-Star Legend Allan Houston, ESPN Analyst Chris Broussard, NBA Player Dahntay Jones & Wife Valeisha Butterfield-Jones, NBA Wife Tracy Mourning, NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady & Wife-Life Coach CleRenda McGrady, NBA Legend Terry Cummings, NBA Legend Charlie Ward, NBA Legend Mark Jackson and Wife Desiree Coleman-Jackson, NBA Coach Avery Johnson, NBA Wife Deshawn Snow, NBA Mother Jolinda Wade (NBA Player Dwyane Wade's Mother) and NBA Player Doug Christie & Wife Jackie Christie have all been SLAM DUNK HONOREES. ASGC is a wholesome kick-off celebration to one of the most exciting weekends during the NBA season. NBA Players and their families come together to celebrate their faith! This year we will honor current and retired NBA Players, Coaches, Executives, and Members of the Community for their outstanding work done in the Philanthropic Community and their FAITH! Music Artist will perform, corporations will have the opportunity to show their support and the public will have the chance to participate in it all. This event also provides funding to domestic violence victims, underprivileged children, breast cancer awareness and helping to fight sickle-cell through the “BE THE MATCH” movement! In 2019, the 30 NBA CHAPLAINS representing the 30 NBA TEAMS “PARTNERED” with All-Star Gospel as their signature event!

“She’s Got Now” Empowerment Luncheon is a prestigious event kicking-off WNBA All-Star Weekend!

THURSDAY I JULY 17th I 2pm-5pm I 2025

This inaugural event will honor the remarkable accomplishments of women who have made significant contributions in sports!

For 18 years, we’ve kicked-off NBA All-Star Weekend

Now…….SHE’S GOT NOW....it’s WNBA All-Star Weekends turn.

The luncheon provides a platform to showcase the diversity and talent within the WNBA community and beyond.

It is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of these trailblazing individuals and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

By shining a spotlight on the innovators and leaders, the “She’s Got Now” Empowerment Luncheon aims to empower and encourage women to pursue their dreams, break down barriers, and leave a lasting impact on the world.

The event celebrates the power of women’s voices and their ability to drive positive change.

This luncheon is a testament to the commitment in promoting gender equality and elevating the stories of remarkable women.

It is a time to come together, recognize the remarkable strides made, and continue to pave the way for future generations of female leaders and role models.

As the WNBA continues to grow and gain recognition, it is important to celebrate WOMEN and the league’s achievements and the impact it has had on the sports landscape.

The WNBA All-Star Weekend is a prime example of this, as it provides a platform to showcase the league’s best players and highlight the positive influence the WNBA has had on communities across the nation.
