Occult Confessions

Occult Confessions uncovers the secret history, philosophy, and rituals of the occult. We ask big questions about people who asked the big questions at the nexus of reason and belief, science and religion.

Our Secret Society of Alchemical Actors brings occultism’s forgotten heroes to life in long format podcasts, digging as deep as we need to in order to discover the true nature of the supernatural.

Our investigations include the birth of occultism in America, the legend of women’s occult power, and history and theory of parapsychology.

Rob C. Thompson has researched and studied with spiritualist psychic mediums and presents and publishes on American occultism. He’s also worked as a ghost tour guide and written about ghost tourism in Gettysburg. He’s adapted the stories of Edgar Allan Poe and H. P. Lovecraft for the stage and teaches acting and performance studies at Chesapeake College.
