The Miss Rodeo North Dakota pageant will be here before you know it!! Girls all across North Dakota will compete to take on the title. The main qualities of being a rodeo queen are having quality horsemanship skills, communication, integrity, determination, and grit. There is so much more to being a rodeo queen than one may think. What a wonderful weekend!! I got to attend The North Dakota Winter Show and Event Center and exhibitioned the junior queen contest on Friday and Saturday. I helped out with muttonbusting, raffle tickets, and so many other events. On Sunday I represented The Sargent County Fair and helped with the livestock show and auctioneer contest. I am so grateful for the opportunity to get to know the new royalty members, Jr Miss North Dakota Winter Show, Miss North Dakota Winter Show and North Dakota Winter Show Princess. And the beautiful Miss Rodeo North Dakota and Miss Rodeo Wisconsin. It was one of the best weekends I have had!

I had a great time at the Fort Ransom Arena Banquet this past weekend. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to show my support to the Fort Ransom Arena Association. It was a great turnout and a great time! Thank you for having me as visiting royalty. Sargent County Fair

It would be great to see everyone at the Fort Ransom Arena Banquet at 5:30 pm this evening. I will be helping Miss FRAA with the banquet and auction tonight. It will be great to see you there enjoying a meal and supporting the FRAA!

What does it take to have a Rodeo Queen's Mentality?

Working on bettering and growing your mindset is an insanely useful skill both in and out of the rodeo queen world. Becoming more confident in your own skin and being unapologetically yourself is one of the best qualities a rodeo queen can have, and that is all the judges really want to see. They don’t want you to act like someone you are not or to fit a rodeo queen mold. They want to know what makes you unique and what you can bring to the title.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Be safe in your travels and enjoy the day! There are so many things to be grateful for. I am grateful for friends, family and so many other things that I cannot express. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to those who are no longer with us and those who are unable to be with family or friends.
