Anne (33) a le syndrome d’Asperger et est malvoyante à la suite d’une naissance prématurée. Trouver sa place dans ce monde représente une lutte journalière pour elle donc elle aime s’abriter sous l’eau comme une sirène.
Son plus grand défi cependant est d’apprendre à vivre au-dessus de l’eau et “à la surface” dans la plus grande autonomie possible.

Happy Mermaid & Merfolk day 🧜‍♀️🧜‍♂️🧜!!!

Storyhouse had the enormous privilege to discover the magical and colourful world of Mermaids and Merfolks🙏
and even litterally dive into it, thanks to the main character of our brand new documentary "Under the surface": Anneke Verelst🫶

Anneke is a beautiful mermaid herself Mermaid Ariel Starfish with a very inspiring story for each of us and in particular for every person that feels different and wants to fully express his/her/its singularity. 💙

For some however, it might still be a huge challenge to embrace entirely the wonderful person they are…
We really want to support them since we strongly believe that showing your vulnerability makes you so much more powerful!💥💥💥
Or as the director of the film Guido Verelst expresses it very well: "with this film I want to show that even if life deals you a bad hand, you can still thrive and shine! "☀️🙌

Breathless follows Daniel Lambo on a passionate quest to find the truth about the deadly asbestos industry. His search takes him to the largest asbestos waste dump in India and unveils a cold-blooded industry still endangering the lives of workers and consumers around the world.

Thank you to LIFE AFTER OIL and 11.11.11 for facilitating the screening of this important documentary in schools across India.
