This September, see Toronto’s waterfront turn into a huge floating art display with ‘A Lake Story’

Over 100 canoes carrying colourful, wind-powered artworks made from pigments found along Lake Ontario’s shore.

📍 From Biidaasige Park to Sugar Beach

Known for producing up to 100 meteors per hour under ideal conditions, this year’s show will be partly dimmed by an 84% illuminated waxing gibbous moon — but bright meteors and spectacular earth grazers will still make it worth watching. ✨

📍 For best viewing, head to dark-sky areas away from city lights

💡 Tips
- Let your eyes adjust to darkness for 30 mins
- Avoid bright lights and phone screens
