CFSA provides the residents of Clarkston with fire and emergency medical services. Here is a little information about Clarkston Fire Service Area #6:

• Our service area consists of 1100 lots, approximately 475 with structures and approximately 1000 residents
• We also have a public fishing access and a thirteen-mile public road in our service area and provide mutual aid to neighboring departments
• Our fundraisers provide safety equipment and items that exceed our budget. Some of these items include radios that cost $4,000 per radio, turnout gear that cost $5,000 per person, wildland clothes and gear that cost $1500 per person, as well as used trucks that start at $80,000
• CFSA receives an assessment of $292.00 from each lot with a structure and $0.15 per acre for undeveloped lots, rather than mils
• CFSA accomplishes this with a crew of 19 volunteers

Our past fundraisers have been very successful. Our first bigfoot hunt and auction raised $16,000. Our first bingo in 2022 raised $3600 with 75 in attendance. The second bingo raised $9,000 with 180 in attendance and the third had 190 in attendance and we raised $17,400.

The proceeds from this year’s event will go towards the purchase of a power cot for the ambulance. The approximate cost is $25,000. A power cot assures handling confidence. Reduces lift height for smaller operators. Requires less force to roll, improving maneuverability over rough terrain, as well as decreases the likelihood of an injury to a crew member or patient from occurring. Our EMS calls have increased along with the growth of our valley. Our nearest mutual aid is over a half hour away, making our EMS service extremely important to our patients. With your help, we provide lifesaving efforts to the Clarkston community and public.

The Eagle at 104.7 and 105.7...we are MONTANA'S SUPERSTATION

The Eagle is the Rock of Southwest Montana! We've built Southwest Montana's most exciting radio station, playing all the best songs from rock & roll's greatest years, and have established ourselves as the heritage rock radio station in the region. In an era where corporate conglomerates have assembled complex clusters of radio stations that get their marching orders from out of town, The Eagle is proud to be locally-owned, operated and DEDICATED! Our 104.7 broadcast transmitting site is truly befitting any eagle... high atop Lone Peak at Big Sky Ski & Summer Resort... over 11,000 feet high in the big sky! This one-of-a-kind perch is the highest FM transmitter site in the great Northwest and 3rd highest in the USA. From here we look out over some of the most beautiful terrain in all of North America and serve a huge geographic area stretching from Northeastern Idaho to Helena... and from Butte to Bozeman and points East. Our West Bozeman transmitter site for 105.7 fills in the population center of the Gallatin Valley, serving primarily Bozeman, Belgrade and Manhattan.
