With regrets, I must announce that reason why few posts have been made here in the past year is because the Anime Geek Gaming Nation (AGGN) website is down with no definitive plans for its return. It's been an honor reporting on various science fictions and anime conventions for our readers.

As its head photographer, I've stopped applying for media passes from conventions as a representative of AGGN. I'll still continue attending conventions and posting them on my personal online albums (https://public.fotki.com/FrameShot/) and posting links to those albums on my personal FB photography page (https://www.facebook.com/frameshotphotography/). Also, albums for the convention pictures I took as representative of AGGN are included in my personal online albums.

The last convention where I photographed for AGGN was DragonCon 2023. A few weeks after last year's DragonCon, the hard drive where I stored the pictures crashed. While I was eventually able to re-upload the unedited pictures from the memory cards, some of my edits were lost. I'm still able to present the pictures I took at DragonCon 2023, though:

Just as no deck would be complete without the ace of spades, no convention would be complete without our aces Captain of the Venusian Skies, Bill Harrison!

Captain Billbill Harrison needs no introduction, but we will endeavor to do our best to give him one anyway. Esteemed showrunner, Steampunk figure, owner of the Venusian Airship Pirates Trading co. and volunteer at nearly every convention and exposition in the Southeast, Capt. Billbill Harrison is one of the most beloved figures in the southeastern convention circuit and beyond. Besides being a darling human being and delightful chap to chat with over a mug of good grog, Capt. Billbill is a wonderful craftsman of Steampunk props and weaponry, and many of his creations can be seen hanging from the belts of cosplayers the world over. He also has a brilliant mind for fiction, and can spin a yarn of his own to delight and engage or share in sharp detail the synopsis of any alternate history or speculative fiction novel you care to hear about. His interests don't stop there, as his long career includes education in music, pyrotechnics, puppetry, and so much more. Truly, there isn't much he cannot do, and so we are beyond excited to have him joining us at Terminus Manor for our weekend holiday February 16-18, 2024!

On My 27th, MomoCon attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the most Spiderman cosplayers in one location. The event was sponsored by Sony Entertainment to promote their upcoming animated Spiderman movie. While MomoCon had 445 Spidey cosplayers, the current record holder had more than 600 participants.

Even though the record wasn't broken at MomoCon, the attempt was still an incredible event, especially given it was organized less than two weeks before the convention began.
