MORE PROTEIN ⛔️⚠️ sorry gang I cannot stand behind this one. I am an advocate for balance within our diet for good reason.

👉🏼Any diet that restricts the food group is going to result in nutrient deficiencies

👉🏼High protein can negatively affect blood sugar levels as some amino acids are glucogenic, which means they get converted into a glucose just as a carbohydrate would and therefore the biochemistry is like eating carbs.

👉🏼Proteins contain purines and high amounts can lead to an acidic environment —> gout.

👉🏼Hormone fed animal proteins are going to increase the toxic burden within our body. So choosing the right kinds of proteins is essential.

Always ask yourself what is my goal? What aligns with my body and my health needs in this moment. Stay grounded in the science.🧬
