With it, we once more release special object/cassette single release. The box contains a hand-crafted ceramic sculpture, cassette, digital download, QR code to the uncensored accompanying video, screen printed artwork in a very rare gold metallic ink and a sun stone that sparkles in the light! This winter solstice, 21 December 2024, we will release the latest installment of Barreuh favourite and frequent collaborator Modelbau( Frans de Waard ), 'Ripples'. The album consists of 2 beautiful 25 minute drone compositions, dark and atmospheric and a fitting Yule soundtrack!

‘Quicksand Box’, the debut solo EP of Brazilian-Australian Raf Milk (of Milkpunch) is out now! And, coincidentally, is our 69th cassette release.
‘Quicksand Box’ comes in a transparent double A sided C22 cassette with screen printed artwork and a handcrafted Jute bag. The cassette is available now on our Bandcamp page: https://barreuhrecords.bandcamp.com/album/quicksand-box and in selected stores. Only 20 available so don't wait too long.

New release announcement!!!
On the 15th of August 2024, Barreuh will release the cassette ‘Quicksand Box’
It is the debut solo EP of Brazilian-Australian Raf Milk, vocalist and producer of Melbourne-based band Milkpunch. Raf’s music offers a mixture of acoustic minimalism coloured by sparse electronic elements.
The EP was recorded on a 4-track tape machine, the songs were originally written back in early 2020 while on a meditation retreat in the hinterlands of Byron Bay, Australia, where an acoustic guitar was the only instrument available. ‘Quicksand Box’ comes in a transparent double A sided C22 cassette with screen printed artwork and a handcrafted Jute bag. The first edition is limited to 20 cassettes so watch this space for more information! We are very excited about this one!

!Release event! Last month we released the second 3D poetry collection by Eindhoven spoken word artist Monique Hendriks in collaboration with visual artist Lilia Scheerder and photographer Bas Berends.
This Saturday the 18th of May at 16:00h we are hosting a somewhat belated release event of 'Retrospectieven: De Vierde Dimensie', a collection of visual View-Master poetry, at Pennings Foundation.
During the event we will present the publication with an interview with the artists by Arnoud Rigter and an 'open stage' of storytellers for which audience members can sign up!

The bundle, presented on a "reel" which is to be placed in the View-Master to be viewed, together with the audiobook of BOTH poetry collections in cassette form will be available at the event.
The poetry bundle and the cassette are a joint publication by Woez, part of the publishing house Uitgeverij Opwenteling penppenningsppppppppppppppennpenand Barreuh Records.

Release day! The second 3D poetry collection by Eindhoven spoken word artist Monique Hendriks is out now!
'Retrospectieven: De Vierde Dimensie' is the second instalment of View-Master poetry, a true 3D experience.

This collection contains artwork by visual artist Lilia Scheerder and photographer Bas Berends. The artworks are 3D scale models that contain the poems and were captured through stereoscopic photography. The images are printed on a slide disc, a 'reel' which is to be placed in the View-Master to be viewed.
ALSO released today is an audiobook of BOTH poetry collections in cassette form! With screen printed artwork and limited to 40 copies.
The poetry bundle and the cassette are a joint publication by Woez, part of the publishing house Uitgeverij Opwenteling, and Barreuh Records.

Inmiddels mogen we gewoon weer samenkomsten organiseren om dit soort gebeurtenissen te vieren, dus op zaterdag 18 mei vieren we bij de geboorte van "De vierde dimensie" (en met terugwerkende kracht ook die van "Retrospectieven") met een ode aan de retro-fantasie. Neem jij ook je favoriete fantasie-verhaaltje mee? Er zal ruimte zijn om het voor te lezen, te zingen of te laten zien. Bedenk vooral zelf de vorm die jij het beste vindt passen. Wil je meedoen aan deze viering van de fantasie? Stuur me dan even een DM.
