This is my first time drawing a bald woman, and I understand why my students didn't want to draw hair. I love how this came out! I used Adobe Fresco to create this piece. Despite the app closing frequently, I really love using it.

I've always loved creating illustrations from vintage photographs, especially those from the 60s and 70s. (I try to recreate the 80s, but the hair is a challenge!) It's my go-to for relaxation and decompression. I created this illustration last night and put it into Newarc.ai to see how it would look. Now, I can't decide which version looks the best.

I created this illustration (picture 1) in 2021, likely for a fashion illustration class at the Art Institute before it closed. In 2024, I discovered Newarc.ai, a site that uses AI to transform sketches, illustrations, and fashion flats. I uploaded my illustration to the platform, but because I hadn't selected the color enhancement option, the resulting AI image came out very white (picture 2).

Recently, while searching my cloud for a fashion figure, I rediscovered the original illustration and decided to see how it would look with the correct colors. After several attempts, the AI finally generated an image that looked similar to my original artwork (picture 3). With some final edits in Google Photos, the result now closely matches my original piece.

I also uploaded the original artwork to Pixverse.ai and told it to "twerk" at the end of the runway. Although it didn't twerk, it did create a cute little dance and added extra fabric to the dresses. 🤔😕

I'm very satisfied, even though I know I'll probably find something else to tweak later!

I'm playing around with .ai and found some great designs for plus-size women. I love these yellow dresses it created; I'll definitely add them to a collection.

Initially, I was hesitant about AI, especially as an artist. However, since I've started using it, I've been having a lot of fun! I love that it can transform my artwork into something lifelike and even bring my fashion illustrations to life with movement.
